Zsolt Horváth

Zsolt graduated in 1985 – with an MSc degree – from the Marx Károly University of Economics. He also studied at the College of Petroleum Studies, Oxford and the Institute for Training and Consulting in Banking. He has worked in the capital markets for more than 30 years, including as Head of Risk Management at KELER, CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange, and the head of several brokerage and investment banks (Confides – the predecessor of Equilor, KBC Securities, Random Capital). Since the launch of BSE Xtend, he has been working as a market expert, he contributed to the launch of Kajahu/Cyberg, DM-KER, Gloster, Épduferr, and he was a designated advisor to Megakran. He is currently working on several Xtend listing and capital raising projects.

In connection with Xtend IPOs, he has been involved in the organisation and execution of nearly HUF 4 billion of capital raises.

Public activities

  • He was a member of the Junior Achievement Supervisory Board, a founding member of the BOM Foundation for Hungarian Sport and the Self-Care Foundation.
